ARTS EDUCATOR
Being an arts educator, this arts enthusiast embraces the essence of creativity. Holding the honourable title of the resident artist, Masz Lita has contributed immensely to many design projects in school. Numerous invites, programme booklets (SYF Showcase 2012) and posters (Prom 2011 & 2012) were created by her. Her design work had indeed earned her praises and accolades from school leaders, foreign guests and stakeholders.
Masz Lita is selfless in dispensing advice pertaining to the fine arts and design and is very well-regarded by her colleagues. Also her sincerity is apparent when she deals with her students, guiding and motivating them to achieve greater success beyond the 'O' level grades. To her, internalising the beauty of art and heightening the appreciation for both fine arts and performing arts is most important and she has truly left an indelible mark in her students' lives.
The nurturing role of a "Home Teacher" (form teacher) of a challenging Normal Technical class was undertaken by Masz Lita also proved a strong testament to her competence as an educator. Focussing on nurturing the child holistically, Masz Lita fervently believes in her students' abilities and would go out of her way to provide support for them.
ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAMME COMMITTEE (AEP) & BAND TEACHER
As a member of the school AEP committee, Masz Lita's contribution was significant in the arts exhibition and display around school. She transformed spaces creatively with her artistic touch. Masz Lita also exercised her diligence and commitment in ensuring the smooth running of the School Concert Band.
INNOVATION & ENTERPRISE COMMITTEE
In the Innovation and Enterprise committee, Masz Lita was an enthusiastic team player. She helped out to drive the creative and innovative movement in school through the CSI (Crazy, Silly Ideas) platform. Fascilitating the monthly brainstorming sessions during staff meeting. Masz Lita had helped to mobilize the school staffs to contribute various ideas and build a culture of innovative sharing.

Having known Masz Lita Abdul Aziz for about 3 years as a colleague (2018-2021), I found her to be a dedicated and professional teacher. Confident and frank in character, she is always ready to speak her mind and provide valuable ideas and contribute to the team she is in.

As a cross-level Art teacher, she is experienced and effective in handling difficult students and has excellent classroom management routines in place so as to provide for her students a conducive and safe environment to learn in. In the delivery of her lessons in class, she is patient with her students and always provides clear and detailed instructions to them so that they were regularly engaged and attentive during her lessons.

As an active member of the Aesthetics department, she is involved in the designing of the
Art curriculum for the school in the Primary 6 level based on the MOE revised syllabus. She is responsible in displaying her students’ artworks around the school and this has helped to make the school environment a conducive environment as her students were excited to see their artworks being displayed.

She is experienced in working with external vendors when their services were required for some of the art modules such as the P6 Batik program and the watercolour module for the Art Club. She was also a team member of the school that worked with schools to hold a yearly Art exhibition in collaboration with the Singapore Art Museum.

As a CCA teacher-in charge of the Art Club, she is in-charge of the attendance and discipline of the students and oversees the planning of the art projects and resources for the teachers and regularly comes up with interesting and engaging activities for her students. Having a passion and flair for Art, she regularly contributes to the designing of the school collaterals such as the school magazine cover and flyers. With her experience as an art educator, her dedication to her students and the creative ideas she possesses, she would be a valuable asset to the school.
